SOCIAL JUSTICESocial Justice and Outreach Ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint (UUCF) has a long history of direct giving, volunteerism in the larger community, support for oppressed and minority group rights and issue advocacy. Many see this as our “UU”nique version of evangelism and mission work guided by reason, compassion, dialogue and tolerance. Whether sparked by member, denomination effort, clergy, secular partner or church board initiative, all efforts must align with our principles and be non-partisan. Volunteer coordinator for this ministry can be reached through the office manager.
