“The Way of Forgiveness, and Flowers”

Would you forgive a Nazi soldier as he lay dying, if you were a Jew imprisoned in his concentration camp? This is the question that holocaust survivor Simon Wiesenthal asked in his groundbreaking book, The Sunflower. With his book as a backdrop, we will explore forgiveness and celebrate flower communion, and especially focus on sunflowers, and with good reason!
The symbol of the Unitarian Church of Prague, Czechoslovakia is graced with images of sunflowers and Norbert Capek created the Flower Ceremony at the Prague Unitarian church before he was gassed to death at Dachau.
Join us for a spring tribute to the beauty of the Earth, and the act of sharing.
